**Global Setup** 1. Place the game board in the center of the table [1]. 2. Place the Break token on the start space of the Break track that corresponds to your player count (e.g., space 3 if there are three players) [1]. 3. Shuffle the Zoo cards and create a face-down deck on the game board on the space marked with the icon [1]. 4. Deal 6 face-down cards from the deck to the spaces provided on the game board (this is the display) [1]. 5. Shuffle the 9 Bonus tiles and place one random Bonus tile face up on each of the 4 blank yellow Bonus spaces on the board; do not place any tiles on the two yellow spaces with icons [1]. 6. Place the 2 organizers next to the game board as the general supply, filling one with enclosures and the other with remaining tiles and tokens [1]. **Personal Setup** 1. Take a random Zoo map and place it side up in front of you; return any unselected maps to the box [2]. 2. Take one set of Action cards (Build, Cards, Animals, Association, and Sponsors) [2]. 3. Place one card with the side I up under each of the five card slots on your zoo map: place the Animals card under the slot furthest to the left showing the 1, and distribute the remaining four cards randomly under the other 4 slots [2]. 4. Place the Association board next to the game board, leaving enough room for one row of cards above and one row of cards below the board [3]. 5. Place 1 partner zoo of each continent and 1 university kind on the spaces provided on the Association board [3]. 6. Shuffle the Base Conservation Project cards and place them face-down as a deck next to the Association board [3]. 7. In a 4-player game, place the 4 topmost cards face up below the board; otherwise, place the 3 topmost [3]. 8. In a 2-player game, take 6 player tokens of any unused color and cover: the left level on the left card, the middle level on the middle card, and the right level on the right card on the face-up Base Conservation Project cards; also cover the three spaces in the left column of the donation area on the Association board [3]. 9. Shuffle the Final Scoring cards and place them face down next to the Association board [3]. 10. Randomly determine a start player (turn order is clockwise) [3]. 11. Choose a color and take all components of this color [3]. 12. Place the counters for appeal, conservation, and reputation on the first spaces of their tracks on the game and place your counters on the Appeal track according to turn order: the start player starts on space 0, the second player on space 1, the third on space 2, and the fourth on space 3 [3]. 13. Take 7 player tokens of your color and place them on the designated spaces at the left edge of your zoo map, keeping the remaining tokens next to your map for later use [3]. 14. Take 4 association workers and place 1 on the notepad of your zoo map as the active worker, and the remaining 3 lying down on the designated spaces below the notepad [3]. 15. Take 25 money from the supply and put it on the notepad of your zoo map [3]. 16. Draw 2 Final Scoring cards and place them next to your zoo map (keep them hidden from other players) [3]. 17. Draw 8 Zoo cards; choose 4 to keep as hand cards and discard the remaining 4 to a face-up discard pile on the board [3][4]. 18. Reveal the 6 cards on the display [4]. **Solo Game Setup** 1. Lay out 3 basic Conservation Project cards and do not place any tokens of a different color on them [5]. 2. Do not use the Break token [5]. 3. Place 7 player tokens of any unused color on the spaces in the left column of the solo tile [5]. 4. Start the game with 20 appeal (though beginners may choose to start with 10 or 0) [5][6].

score = the fused retrieval score (reciprocal-rank fusion over the search arms) — NOT a cosine similarity. This ruling ran the THREE-ARM fuse (full-text + vector + the doc-priority boost arm, which carried the base rulebook and/or the errata corrections this query matched), whose arithmetic ceiling is 0.04918 — all three arms ranking the same chunk #1 (ceiling = arms/(k+1) at k=60). The measured healthy band 0.016–0.033 was measured on TWO-arm asks and does not bound this one: its high end is the two-arm ceiling, and a third arm has room above it. A chunk only one arm ranked highly lands near 0.016 (that one arm's #1 vote), so 0.03 here is an excellent hit, not a 3% match.

per-arm ranks (the rank each search arm gave a chunk): NOT DISCLOSED by the gateway. Fusion happens gateway-side and only the FUSED score crosses the wire, so rulesage cannot show them without a gateway change. The rank column below is the FUSED rank (position in the returned list), which is real.

token count per chunk: NOT DISCLOSED — chunk token counts are not reported on the ask path. The character counts below are of the bounded snippet/quote rulesage actually received — a real measurement of what we hold, never an estimate of the chunk.

stream path
streamed — the gateway pushed at least one accumulated draft
watchdog
first-token watchdog: 30s per arming window (rulesage.table.first-token-watchdog-seconds), re-armed once by the passages frame — so the worst case before a reader falls back to polling is 60s. Whether it actually fired is a BROWSER-side decision that never reaches the server, so it is not recorded here. The stream path above is the server's half of that story: whether a delta was emitted at all.
num_ctx · think posture
both are the CHILD's settings, not rulesage's, and no ask reply carries them — an answer never states which context window or think posture produced it. The live-seat line above reads them from the running child instead, where the gateway can answer for itself; it describes the child NOW, not this ask.

this game registers NO errata cards (edition 173), so "no registered errata card matched" above could never have matched one

Errata scope: the gate above matched this ruling's own edition only. When an ask also reads an expansion, that expansion's own registered errata cards stay outside the match — a stated phase-1 limitation, not a failed lookup.
