How do I take my turn?

Answered counted as answered

Asked with: Lancasterbg-96913-en-1e

The game is played over five rounds, with players taking turns in a clockwise direction [1]. The sequence of play for each round consists of three phases: 1: Place knights, 2: Parliament, and 3: Rewards [1]. **Phase 1: Place Knights** 1. The active player takes one of their own knights from their court and places him on a knight's space [1]. (In certain expansions, the active player may place one of their own knights or their own lord [2]). 2. The player may also place as many squires as they wish along with their knight to add 1 strength point each, though these do not count toward the required minimum strength [1]. 3. If placing in a county, the knight must match or exceed the demanded minimum strength; if the space is occupied, the active player's knight (and any squires) may expel the existing occupant if their combined strength exceeds the occupant's strength [1]. 4. If placing in a castle, the player places their knight on an empty knight's space [3]. 5. If engaging in a conflict, the player selects a conflict and places their knight on the topmost empty knight's space; players may reinforce strength by stacking knights in conflicts [3]. 6. The next player performs their turn similarly until all players have placed all their knights (and lords, if applicable) [1][2]. If a player has no more knights in their court, their turn is skipped [1]. **Phase 2: Parliament** 1. After the last knight is placed, players vote on three new laws one after the other [3]. 2. All players vote simultaneously and secretly, deciding for or against the law by placing a voting tile face down [3]. 3. Players may then secretly enforce their decision using any number of voting markers [3]. 4. Players reveal their tiles and tally votes (each tile and marker counts as one vote); a majority wins, but a draw results in the law being approved [3]. **Phase 3: Rewards** 1. The players gain rewards from the applicable laws, evaluated from left to right [4]. 2. Evaluations occur in the following order: Counties, Castles, and then Conflicts [4]. 3. For counties, the concerned player chooses one of three options: take a nobleman tile, take the other shown reward, or pay 3 gold to take both [4]. 4. After collecting rewards, the player takes their knight back to their court (returning squires to the general supply if they were used) [5][4]. 5. For castles, the start player scores their complete castle first, followed by other players clockwise [5]. Players receive rewards for knights placed in their castle and may decide the order of evaluation [5]. 6. For conflicts, the players gain power points based on the strength of their knights involved in the conflict [5].

score = the fused retrieval score (reciprocal-rank fusion over the search arms) — NOT a cosine similarity. This ruling ran the THREE-ARM fuse (full-text + vector + the doc-priority boost arm, which carried the base rulebook and/or the errata corrections this query matched), whose arithmetic ceiling is 0.04918 — all three arms ranking the same chunk #1 (ceiling = arms/(k+1) at k=60). The measured healthy band 0.016–0.033 was measured on TWO-arm asks and does not bound this one: its high end is the two-arm ceiling, and a third arm has room above it. A chunk only one arm ranked highly lands near 0.016 (that one arm's #1 vote), so 0.03 here is an excellent hit, not a 3% match.

per-arm ranks (the rank each search arm gave a chunk): NOT DISCLOSED by the gateway. Fusion happens gateway-side and only the FUSED score crosses the wire, so rulesage cannot show them without a gateway change. The rank column below is the FUSED rank (position in the returned list), which is real.

token count per chunk: NOT DISCLOSED — chunk token counts are not reported on the ask path. The character counts below are of the bounded snippet/quote rulesage actually received — a real measurement of what we hold, never an estimate of the chunk.

streamed — the gateway pushed at least one accumulated draft
watchdog
first-token watchdog: 30s per arming window (rulesage.table.first-token-watchdog-seconds), re-armed once by the passages frame — so the worst case before a reader falls back to polling is 60s. Whether it actually fired is a BROWSER-side decision that never reaches the server, so it is not recorded here. The stream path above is the server's half of that story: whether a delta was emitted at all.
num_ctx · think posture
both are the CHILD's settings, not rulesage's, and no ask reply carries them — an answer never states which context window or think posture produced it. The live-seat line above reads them from the running child instead, where the gateway can answer for itself; it describes the child NOW, not this ask.

this game registers NO errata cards (edition 61), so "no registered errata card matched" above could never have matched one

Errata scope: the gate above matched this ruling's own edition only. When an ask also reads an expansion, that expansion's own registered errata cards stay outside the match — a stated phase-1 limitation, not a failed lookup.
